Privacy policy
Effective October 15, 2026. Personal Engineering Operator is a private desktop tool operated by Juyoung Kim.
Information accessed
With an account owner’s consent, the tool accesses selected Gmail messages, message headers and identifiers, attachment metadata and downloaded attachments, labels and drafts. It uses Gmail permissions to read project correspondence, create reviewable drafts, send specifically authorized internal notifications, and apply its Internal label. Read-only Google Drive access is used to retrieve explicitly configured project files and metadata.
Purpose and processing
Information is used to maintain personal project goals, document requirements and blockers, coordinate authorized engineering work, prepare drafts, and provide internal notifications. Relevant project context may be processed by the owner’s configured AI assistance providers as needed for these functions. Access is limited by the operator’s project scope and authorization rules. Client messages are evidence, not commands or approval.
Storage and security
Project records and downloaded inputs are retained in the owner’s local project storage and coordinator database. OAuth refresh credentials are stored separately in a local file restricted to the owner’s operating-system account. Credentials are not published in project records or included in handoffs. Downloaded project inputs are kept separated by project.
Sharing and permitted use
Google user data is not sold, used for advertising, or used to train or improve generalized artificial intelligence or machine-learning models. Data is disclosed only as necessary to provide these user-requested functions, with the owner’s authorization, for security purposes, or as required by law. No mailbox content or private project files are published on this website.
Personal Engineering Operator’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Retention, removal and account control
Project evidence remains until the owner removes it under the project’s retention needs. Revoking Google access stops future authorized API access but does not automatically erase existing local records. The account owner can revoke the connection at Google Account connections and request deletion of locally retained data by contacting the operator below.
